About Trans Joy Akron:
Trans Joy Akron was created in response to the amazing turnout at Akron’s Trans Day of Visibility Celebration last March and in 2022. Our core planning group consists of a diverse team of trans, non-binary, and gender expansive leaders along with committed allies. We aim to build Akron’s trans+ community through social activities, serving the public, supporting emerging leaders, and recognize trans-focused days (TDOV & TDOR).
