Akron's Trans Day of Visibility Celebration

Celebrate Transgender Day of Visibility with the Akron LGBTQ+ Community!
Snacks, open mic time, a graffiti wall, an art table, an acting improv workshop, a free Margie’s Closet pop-up, and free AIDS and COVID testing by Akron AIDS Collaborative.  The venue is accessible with all activities on one level.  We aim to be sensitive to sensory issues by providing earplugs and a sensory area.  Also, we’ll have snacks that are friendly to people’s dietary needs. Five local groups (Akron AIDS Collaborative, Akron Equity Pride, QuTheatr, Goodyear Pride Network, and Margie’s Hope) are partnering to create a night focused on celebrating the trans, non-binary, and gender nonconforming community.
