Event Description:
Kent Rainbow Weekend presents Handmade with Pride, an “around town” event where participants engage in rainbow-themed arts and crafts activities at each stop! Some activities will be hosted inside the businesses, while others will be “take and make” to be enjoyed at home. Check-in at the Kent State Hotel & Conference Center on Sat., Oct. 18, from 1-5pm to pick up a Handmade with Pride “pass” and special Rainbow Weekend giveaway items from Main Street Kent. Decorate your own rainbow cookie with the Kent State Hotel and partake in a creative activity with Hazelmade, then head out to many more locations offering activities throughout the day. Ticket proceeds will benefit the LGBTQ+ Fund of the Portage Foundation. All ages welcome at this family-friendly event!
