World AIDS Day at the Bayard Rustin LGBTQ+ Resource Center is more than a competition—it’s a space for remembrance, resistance, and release. Through spoken word, we honor those who came before us, celebrate those still here, and speak life into a future without stigma.

Artists and storytellers will share work that challenges silence and uplifts truth. Three performers will take home cash prizes, but the real win is in the words shared and the community built.
