Group of Ohio leaders send message to Indiana Companies: ''We're open for business & to everyone''

As the list of businesses in Indiana upset with the state’s new Religious Freedom Restoration Act grows, Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown joined mayors from around the state on Wednesday in sending them a message.

“If companies want to leave Indiana because their legislature said its okay to discriminate against gay people, we welcome those businesses to come to Cleveland, to Canton, we welcome them to Ohio because we will treat them right,” Brown said.

Arguably nowhere in the state is that more true than in Cleveland, which last year hosted the Gay Games, which brought 20,000 people to the city, pumped $52 million into the economy and also sent a message.  Read more
